I started Network Direction in 2008 as a way to reinforce what I've learned, and to share what I've learned with others. It wasn't long before I was posting articles on networking, Linux, Windows, and general Systems Administration.

Over the years my attention got diverted, and the site didn't get updated as often as I would have liked. I also found the content to be too general and unorganized, covering too many different areas of IT.

For this reason, in 2016 the site was redesigned into the site you see now. It is much more organised, and focuses more on networking, and less on general systems administration.
