these labs don’t work on cisco packet tracer
am I doing something wrong?

You can’t open them directly in packet tracer, as they were created in VIRL.
However, you can create the topology in packet tracer and copy in the running-config.
Also note, packet tracer does lack some features, so some commands won’t work.
